MENAFN - China aims to boost its relations, particularly economic ones, with Iran, the assistant foreign minister of China told the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) on Monday.

Economy is among the significant grounds of relationship between nations, including Iran and China, said Zhang Jun, adding China will offer guarantees to the ties in any conditions.

Tehran and Beijing trust each other, and China is attempting hard to safeguard the activities of its establishments in Iran, Zhang affirmed.

Stating that encouraging Chinese firms to invest in Iran is among the strategic plans to boost relations, he added the people and governments of the two nations have had good ties for a long time.
