Europe must implement financial mechanism with Iran: MP

IRNA – Member of National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iranian Parliament emphasized that the establishment of ‘European Financial Mechanism’ was the outcome of a series of intensive negotiations by the Iranian foreign minister with the Europeans, and it is their legal obligation to implement it.

‘The Europeans should be able to show its capability in response to irrational, cruel and illegal American pressures,’ Alaeddin Boroujerdi confirmed in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) in Beijing.

‘If Europe fails to do that, it will be an end to the European power in the region and against the US and if this monetary system is not being realized, it will be more detrimental to them than it does to us.’

Boroujedi said that the general decision was taken in this respect and that they are concerned about the implementation in terms of threats and continuous American pressures.
