Seven foreign countries taking part in Silk Road conference

IRNA- Director of Iran’s Cultural Heritage Research Center pointing to holding the third international archeological conference and protecting the Silk Road in Tabriz, said the pundits and professors of this field from seven countries participated in the conference.

Addressing a press conference on Monday, Behrouz Omrani referred to three-day conference, and said that due to importance and location, the biennial conference was handed out to Tabriz after two-round conference in China, where historic venue of Yam 50 km from the city was determined as host.

The conference, which will be held on November 13 – 16, 21 articles from China, Uzbekistan, Italy, Iran, Russia, Austria, Germany and Turkey, in addition to 19 articles in the form of lectures by professors and the Iranian Archaeology and Archaeology will be presented. In addition, 19 articles will also be presented in the form of speech by professors and pundits of archaeology, he added.

Omrani announced the total of articles sent to the Secretariat of the conference over 130 titles.
