Iran Parliament speaker: Americans fomenting int値 disorder

IRNA With their acts in different areas, including Iran nuclear deal, and with violating international agreements, the Americans are fomenting international disorder, Iran痴 Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said on Monday.

Speaking during a meeting with head of Iran-Portugal Friendship Committee of Portuguese parliament Ad縊 Silva in Tehran, Larijani said the European countries can play a significant role under the conditions.

Iran is eager to expand trade and economic relations with Portugal, the Iranian speaker said.

There are different grounds for cooperation between Iran and Portugal, including oil and gas cooperation and joint investments in different projects, Larijani said.

He said that current level of trade relations between Iran and Portugal is not satisfactory and the two countries need to use their full capacity to upgrade their relations.

Noting that the Americans are playing with the issue of terrorism in the region, Larijani said they are not seeking to solve the issue.

The Portuguese Member of Parliament said for his part that expansion of cooperation and enhanced interactions with Iran are of special significance for Portugal.

Silva also condoled with the Iranian nation and sympathized with the families of the victims of recent terrorist attack in the southwestern Iranian city of Ahvaz on behalf of the Portuguese government and nation.

Referring to the US unilateral exit from Iran nuclear deal, Silva said the Portuguese Parliament supports Iran.

Noting that Iran nuclear deal was a proper agreement for the maintenance of international peace, progress and stability, he expressed hope that Iran will not step away from the contract.
