Sputnik - Arash Ahmadi Teifkani managed to keep the ball on his foot for one hour 23 minutes and 12 seconds, beating the previous Guiness World record by 26 minutes.
The new record holder was born ina small city insouthern Iran. His father played forthe national team, so he naturally fell inlove withthe sport.
Arash was set toembark ona pro career himself beforean injury shut the door onhis dream. After serving inthe military, he decided tofocus onindividual athletic activities, and he's not new tosetting records either.
"In 2016, I applied forregistering my record atholding the ball onmy head tothe Guinness World Record Book, butas I was sending the video, the connection broke. I stood withthe ball onmy head forsix hours, butit didn't count because the video didn't record," says Arash But a year ago I did break that record bya Swede withthe result of8 hours 42 minutes and 12 seconds."
