Financial Tribune- Tehran�s Mehrabad International Airport registered over 142,000 takeoffs and landings in 2017, indicating a 7% rise compared with the year before, the Ministry of Roads and Urban Development�s news service reported.

During the year, 120,500 tons of freight and around 17.50 million passengers were transported, registering an 8% and 7% year-on-year growth respectively.

Mehrabad International Airport was the busiest airport in Iran in 2017.
