Iran keen on boosting ties with Belarus

IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to Belarus Mostafa Oveisi on Tuesday voiced Tehran’s readiness to promote ties with Minsk.

In a meeting with Belarusian Defense Minister Andrei Ravkov, he added that the two countries can take long steps in cooperation with each other to help promote bilateral ties.

Rakov, for his part, hailed exchange of visits by the two countries’ presidents, describing it as a sign of friendship and solid bilateral relations.

During the meeting, the two officials discussed regional and international developments, stressing the need for development of mutual cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
