Iran, Oman FMs discuss bilateral ties, regional developments

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Omani counterpart Yusuf bin Alawi bin Abdullah in a meeting on Monday discussed bilateral ties as well as regional and international developments.

Zarif and bin Alawi stressed ending the war in Yemen and also dispatch of humanitarian aid to the war-torn country.

They also discussed issues of mutual interest, including development of banking cooperation.

Oman’s foreign minister is in Tehran to attend the 2nd Tehran Security Conference 2018: Regional Security in West Asia, Emerging challenges and Trends started in Iran capital city on Monday with a speech delivered by Zarif.
