MNA � Brigadier General Hatami the Defense Minister of Iran said the US will be responsible for any further tension and bloodshed in the region.

Brig. Gen. Hatami made the remarks with regard to the hostile decision of the White House to recognize Al-Quds as capital the Zionist capital.

Addressing a meeting of senior officials of Defense Ministry, he pointed to America�s recognition of Jerusalem as capital of fake Zionist regime and described the hostile action as a plot for ruining rights of the Muslim people of Palestine adding �the move will advance destruction of the Zionist regime and increase unity of Muslims.�

He said that the global arrogance, after suffering defeats in Syria and Iraq, is seeking a new conspiracy and adventure against other nations in the region; �the occupying regime of Israel knows the illegitimate actions of the US government will bring no change to Al-Quds as the Palestinian people and the freedom-loving people of the world will become more determined than ever to become united and stand up for liberation of Jerusalem and the land of Palestine.

Iran�s defense minister, while condemning the provocative act of the US government, emphasized that occupiers will never see themselves in peace, and they have no choice but to leave the land, and Muslims in the world will never allow separation of any part of the Islamic world.

Amir Hatami said the US and the Zionist regime will be responsible for any increase in tension in the region, saying the US government should take responsibility for its anti-security decision.

�The policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been to support the oppressed Palestinian people and stability and security of the region and will condemn and warn against unilateral actions of the US and the Zionist regime,� he added.

At another part of his remarks, referring to the collapse of ISIL group, the official said a huge conspiracy had been prepared for the region by enemies, especially the Zionist regime, who wanted to establish a permanent dispute between Shias and Sunnis and among nations of the region in a bid to ensure security of the Zionist regime.

Amir Hatami, stating that the plot hatched by enemies had been very precise, stated that if ISIL terrorists had not been eradicated from the region, the Zionist regime would live for a long time in peace and security, and that the nations of the region, instead of fighting with Israel and terrorist groups, would be busy with war against each other.

He emphasized remembrance of martyrs of holy shrines and all those who moved on the path of dignity underlining �today we have to be proud of ourselves in the fight against ISIL terrorist group and its supporters, and we will certainly continue the same path.�

Iran�s MoD stressed that terrorist groups are fed with the same line of thought which is still lingering; �we must carefully monitor actions of terrorist groups in order to completely eradicate roots of the tragic scourge.�

Hatami, pointing out that ISIL will not be the first and last ploy of the enemy in the region, added �conspiracy of enemies will continue and we are sure that the US-led arrogance plan is still active in various aspects.�

At the end of his remarks, the official appreciated advances made by the Iranian Ministry of Defense which has moved path of development over the past 40 years.
