Iran Army Chief arrives in Ankara to meet with senior political, military officials

MNA – Iranian Army Chief Maj. Gen. Bagheri arrived at Ankara Airport on Tuesday morning, heading a high-ranking military-political delegation.

During his three-day visit to Turkey, Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Chief of Staff of Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, will hold talks with top-ranking political and military authorities of Turkey, including President Recep Tayyip, the head of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, Turkish Minister of National Defense Fikri Işık and other senior authorities.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Asia and Oceania Affairs Ebrahim Rahimpour, chief of IRGC’s Ground Forces Mohammad Khakpour, Deputy Chief of Iranian Armed Forces Brigadier General Gholam Reza Mehrabi, Deputy Minister of Defense for Education and Research of the Armed Forces Mohammed Hassan Bagheri, and some others accompany General Bagheri in the visit to Turkey.
