Zarif: JCPOA pumps billion of dollars into Iran

2017 - Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Saturday that after implementation of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) billion of US dollars have been pumped into the country.

The responsibility of the foreign ministry goes beyond foreign relations under wise supervision of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, Zarif said.

In the swearing-in ceremony of President Rouhani which was regarded as an interior issue guests from 27 European countries had attended which should be taken into consideration, Zarif pointed out.

Presence of over 105 foreign delegations in the swearing-in ceremony was quite unprecedented which should be taken into consideration, he said.

Previously, Iran had no quota at international equations about Syria but, now the country sets the meetings and also appoint member-delegates who attend the meeting, foreign ministry said.

'In line with developments, we will witness change of infrastructure at the foreign ministry and for the same reason regional deputies in the ministry were omitted and political deputies in various sectors would come on streams,' he said.

Iran has attained its goals with regards to the JCPOA and barriers in transportations, oil and banks have been removed but since lift of sanctions in other sectors have not been raised, we cannot expect removal of sanctions in other sectors, Zarif said.

After sound implementation of the JCPOA billions of dollars as foreign investments have entered to the country, Zarif said, adding that we should respond to the US disloyalty in this end and end of such measures will not be to the benefit of the US and the recent investment made by Total company should be regarded as a big jump to this en
