IRNA - The UN Resident Coordinator in Iran Gary Lewis in a twitter message released in his twitter account, highlighted the national day of girls in Iran and congratulated the day.


In his tweet message, he said: 'Living up to the expectations of our daughters drives me to be a better and more empowered man-we are truly blessed. Happy National Girls Day.'

Iranians mark the natinal day of girl annually on the birth annivesary of Hazrat Fatemah Ma'soomah (SA), who is the sister of Imam Reza (AS), the eighth Shia Imam.
