Iranian FM leaves for NY: Spokesman

IRNA – Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasemi said on Thursday that Foreign Minster Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran for New York early in the morning to partake in the United Nations’ High-Level Political Forum 2017.

“On the sidelines of the meeting, Foreign Minister Zarif will meet with thinkers, officials, and world figures from different countries,” Qasemi said.

He added that Zarif is to address the Council on Foreign Relations (CRF) on July 17 in the presence of CRF’s President Richard Haas.
