FNA- Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi announced that his country will soon impose bans and legal restrictions against a number US nationals and companies that assist the terrorist groups or help regional dictatorial rulers crack down on their nations.

"We have defined mechanisms to reciprocate (Washington's measures) and restore our rights either in the field of the (US violation of) nuclear deal, bilateral relations with the US, the US president's travel ban order or the unfair sanctions they have imposed (against Tehran) recently," Qassemi told reporters in his weekly press conference in Tehran on Monday.

Asked about an earlier statement of the foreign ministry that had vowed to release the list of the US nationals and firms which help the terrorist groups and certain countries to suppress the regional nations and Iran's plans to impose legal restrictions on them, he said, "We have taken the decisions and we will announce them in due time; yet I am not to release the list now postpone it for a few days."

His remarks came after a recent discriminatory decision taken by new US President Donald Trump on imposing travel ban against nationals of seven Muslim states, including Iran, which was suspended by a US court order later.

Trump's travel ban order was followed by several days of uncertainty from government officials, legal action from the American Civil Liberties Union and other immigrant and civil rights groups, chaos at airportsand protests throughout the United States, as well ascondemnation from Democratic lawmakersand a few Republicans.

But there has also been anoutpouring of oppositionfrom world leaders and the international community at large. Thousands gathered outside 10 Downing Street, the seat of the British government, in protest against the order, while more than a million citizens signed apetitioncalling for a ban on Trump visiting the United Kingdom.

The political leadership in countries like Indonesia, Denmark, Italy, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, as well as the nations that comprise the Arab League, have all spoken out in condemnation of the order, with German Chancellor Angela Merkelpersonally lobbyingTrump to reverse course.

But the order was suspended by a US court.
