Shana� Iran-Russian Energy Committee has convened for the first ever on Monday morning as Deputy Minister of Petroleum for International Affairs and Trading Amir-Hossein Zamaninia and Russian Deputy Energy Minister Molodtsov Kirill will attend the event.

The Iran-Russian Energy Committee started within the framework of the 13th Iran-Russian Joint Economic Commission as a delegation consisting more than 30 persons from Russia were present in it to discuss mutual cooperation.

The 13th Iran-Russia Joint Commission session started since Sunday and will end on Tuesday with conclusion of several cooperation documents.

Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Mahmoud Vaezi, and Russian Energy Minister, Alexander Novak, are presidents of the joint commission session.

Since with the current government has taken office, Iran Russia have given impetus to their economic relations with the strategy to build up mutual cooperation and regional convergence.
