IRNA � Indonesian President Joko Widodo will head a high-ranking delegation to Tehran on Dec 14, the Indonesian media said on Friday.


According to Metro TV Widodo, the visit aims to increase cooperation between the two countires in oil and gas, oil management cooperation and Iran's investment in Indonesia refinery.

President Hassan Rouhani had a tour to Indonesia last year and he negotiated with Indonesian officials to develop bilateral cooperation and an agreement was achieved to boost economic ties.


Metro TV emphasized that Iran and Indonesia are developing economic cooperation after the implementation of JCPOA.
