Zanganeh to meet Slovenian Min. of economic development, technology

FNA- Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh is to meet and confer with Slovenian Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Zdravko Po?ivalek, on Wednesday.

Po?ivalek arrived in Tehran on Monday along with Slovenian President Borut Pahor.

The Slovenian president visits Iran for the first ever in the past 25 years and opening of Slovenian embassy in Tehran shows strong will of the two sides for expansion of ties.

Pahor met with President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday, discussing economic, communications and nano technology cooperation, signing three documents and MoUs to that end.

Slovenia is south of Central Europe and is Ljubljana is its capital and big city. Its economy has over recent years been in a favorable status in terms of durability and stability compared to the past one decade.

The European country extracts five million cubic meters of natural gas a year which meets a tiny portion of domestic demand.

Slovenia is a country with high economic capacity in the European Union in the areas of electronic industries, mechanic, telecommunication equipment and power plant construction, especially building dam inlets.
