A senior Iranian commander says "Irans Armed Forces will never be caught off guard" by any threats.
The [Iranian] Armed Forces will make any country threatening [us] as well as their allies regret [their acts], IranianArmy's Ground Forces CommanderBrigadier General Ahmad RezaPourdastan said on Wednesday.
He referred to the proxy wars launched by Takfiri terrorists in the Middle East as the new forms of threat against the Islamic Republic.

In recent years, Iran has made major breakthroughs in its defense sector and attained self-sufficiency in producing important military equipment and systems.
Iran has also held several military drills to boost its defense capabilities and assess its readiness to counter any possible threats against its territory.

Meanwhile, Iran has been keeping a watchful eye on its borders to counter any potential moves by Takfiri and terrorist elements.
The Iranian officials have maintained that sustainable security alongthe country's borders is a red line for the Islamic Republic.
