TEHRAN, Oct. 27 (MNA) � The Iranian President Hassan Rouhani issued a letter addressing Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the King of Qatar, offering condolences over the death of his grandfather.


In a formal letter of condolences to the current king of Qatar, President Hassan Rouhani of Iran offered condolences over the death of Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad Al Thani, the former Qatari king who ruled Qatar from 1972 until 1995.

Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the ruling king of Qatar who is the grandson of the deceased 84-year old king, announced three days of national mourning on the event.
