Canada PM slams previous gov’t for cutting Iran ties

Tehran, Oct 7, IRNA – Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Friday criticized the previous government in the North American nation for severing diplomatic ties with Iran.

“The previous government closed down our representatives in Iran for political and ideological reasons,’ Trudeau said during a media availability session in Toronto blaming the previous government of Canada for cutting relations with the Islamic Republic, wrote the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

The Conservatives cut ties with Tehran in 2012 and asked the Iranian diplomats to leave Canada.
