Tehran, Oct 7, IRNA � Kuwait interior ministry said on Friday that two Iranian officials, who were taking photos in a religious center in Huli province, were arrested by security forces.


Public Relations Department at Kuwait Ministry of Interior said the move followed intensification of security measures, control of movements of suspicious individuals and safeguard lives of mourners.

The ministry said the two Iranians, Hassan Ali and Adel Abdolrahim, were arrested and in interrogations, suspicious photos were found in their mobile phones.

It said the Iranians had travelled to Kuwait two months ago and after their arrest on Thursday, they were handed over to security officers for interrogation.

More investigations are underway to find out identity and probe into activity of the Iranians, added the ministry.
