The Iranian Defense Industries Organization has managed to manufacture 41 pressure tanks and 11 distillation towers of its own design for the Bushehr oil refinery, the Iranian Defense Ministry said.





MOSCOW (Sputnik)�� Domestically producing petrochemical equipment is "a major step and a new beginning in�an era of�development of�the Islamic Republic of�Iran�s petrochemical industries," Tasnim News Agency cited the ministry's statement as�asserting.

According to�the media outlet, the domestically-produced refining equipment is the latest achievement in�a series of�technical inventions made by�Iranian petrochemists for�the national oil industry.

After Iran made a nuclear deal in�July 2015 with�the P5+1 group of�countries including the United States, Russia, France, China and Britain plus Germany guaranteeing the peaceful nature of�Tehran's nuclear program, the European Union, the United Nations and partially the United States lifted sanctions against�Iran, enabling it to�restart oil supplies to�the global market.
