Calling the visit an unusual event, Abdel Bari Atwan, the editor-in-chief of Rai al-Youm also stated that I wondered why Anwar Eshki was interested in travelling to Israel and meeting with the regime officials.

Denouncing the retired general visit of Israel, Mohammed Al-Barrak, a member of the kingdom's Muslim Scholars Association also said Israelis have ruled Palestine and every Muslim is responsible to consider the ruling illegal and tries to end the occupation.
