Judiciary head urges West to stop double standards against terrorism

TEHRAN, Jun. 14 (MNA) Head of the Judiciary said Western countries need to stop double standards in addressing the issue of terrorism.

Ayatollah SadeghAmoli Larijani pointed to the usual warnings posed by critics of Americas dual behavior towards direct and indirect support for terrorism, underlining serious and comprehensive confrontation with terrorism requiresthat Western countries put an end to their double standards in addressing the issue by clinging to ethical and humanitarian standards."

Later, the official outlined the removal of Saudi Arabia from a UN blacklist of countries which violate rights ofchildren as another instance of dual behavior by international organizations and the influence they receive from great powers or rich countries.

It remains absolutely unfortunate that these organizations let Saudi Arabia and Muslim allies be removed from a blacklist for killing children in Yemen though they have slaughtered many innocent children, he added.

Amoli Larijnai also condemnedthe recent mass shooting in Orlando of the US emphasizing that by nature, no man would accept the killing of innocent people."

The Islamic Republic of Iran has repeatedly stated that it condemns terrorism in all dimensions since murdering innocent people is not acceptable from a humane point of view, Judiciary head underlined.

Highlighting that terrorism cannot be classified with good or bad titles, Amoli Larijani said Iran cannot accept that Jabhat al-Nusra is a good terrorist group unlike what the US is trying to prove.

Interestingly, ifa terrorist attack occurs inside America, it would mark a sample of bad terrorism, he concluded.
