Chabahar, May 19, IRNA � Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan underlined the seriousness and practicality of the government�s plans for the development of Makran coasts.

�(President Hassan Rouhani�s) government has serious programs for developing Makran coasts in Southern Iran,� Brigadier General Dehqan said.

He said that the government has set up a special workgroup to develop the Makran coasts and Islamic Revolution Leader has also laid emphasis on development of these strategic coasts.

�The permit for setting up Chabahar International Airport has been issues and the construction of the airport will begin soon with the help of special free zones organization,� the Iranian defense minister added.
