One of the topics for the discussion at the International Syria Support Group (ISSG) meeting in Vienna will be the settlement of the situation around Aleppo, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said Tuesday.





VIENNA (Sputnik)�� The International Syria Support Group meeting has begun in�Austria�s capital of�Vienna.
"Today we will focus on�how to�guarantee the ceasefire conditions. And this concerns not only the city of Aleppo, but�the whole area around�it," Steinmeier told reporters.




There was a relatively slack period in�past three months in�Syria, he noted.

"We have seen that in�the regions that were completely cut-off from�supplies, once again the possibility to�send special transport reemerged. However, not all of�the territories have been made available for�humanitarian missions [access]," Steinmeier added.

The ISSG, co-chaired by�Moscow and Washington, was formed in�November 2015, shortly after�the beginning of�the Syria peace talks, as�a panel of�countries seeking to�end bloodshed in�Syria. The European Union, the Arab League, China, Iran, Turkey, and the United Nations are also members of�the group.
