Zarif draws attention of new MPs to national security in lawmaking

Tehran, May 7, IRNA Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Saturday drew attention of the new Members of Paliament to national security in passing legislation.

He briefed the new MPs about Iranian foreign policy in the first meeting of the newly-elected representatives to the parliament.
Zarif referred to the nuclear deal with the Western governments, saying that the deal was aimed to find a solution to problems which had bothered the country for years.

No one in the Middle East and the entire world regards Iran as a threat anymore and no one believes that working with Iran is costly, Zarif said.

'Let's not regard the nuclear deal one hundred nor zero, but look at it as a realistic practice against six world powers. They orchestrated different UN resolutions against our country.'
