Skiing on dirt spines in Iran? It’s as sketchy as It sounds

Austrian skier Fabian Lentsch and his friends have been traveling around the Balkans and Eastern Europe for the past few months courtesy of Red Bull in a converted fire truck turned into a badass adventuremobile. Lately they’ve been rolling around the Persian Gulf, and found a stack of perfect spines on the island of Qeshm in Iran. Well, perfect if you ignore the fact that there’s not a slick of snow on any of them to ski.

Of course, young knees encourage trying to ski them anyways – on dirt – and ski them these guys do. A bit more extreme than Colorado’s famous sand dunes riding, but these guys still survive it. Would you drop these spines?
