Syria: ISIL suffers heavy casualties in army offensives east of Aleppo

TEHRAN (FNA)- The Syrian government forces continued to target the ISIL terrorists' concentration centers near at least six villages and a vast region in the Eastern part of Aleppo province and inflicted a heavy death toll on the militants.

The ISIL strongholds near the villages of Hazwan, Bazaa, Qbasin, Hussamia, Akola and al-Breij and the region of Deir Hafir came under the heavy assaults of the Syrian army and its popular allies, which ended in the killing or wounding of tens of the terrorists.


The ISIL's military hardware and vehicles also sustained major damage in the attacks.


A report said on Monday that the Syrian soldiers continued to target the concentration centers of al-Nusra Front terrorists in the Northern Aleppo province.


The army soldiers stormed gatherings of al-Nusra Front near the villages of Sawaran and al-Aweijeh and the regions of al-Shaqeif and Dahret Abd Rabbo in the Northern territories of Aleppo province, which claimed the lives of tens of the terrorists and destroyed a number of their military vehicles, including their bulldozers.
