Iran to hold 4 massive drills

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Commander of the Iranian Army’s Ground Forces Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan said that the country plans to stage 4 massive drills in the current Iranian calendar year, which started on March 21, 2016.

The first one is going to be held late May or in June in Isfahan City, central Iran, he said, adding the country plans to hold 17 technical drills as well. “We will boost our capability based on threats.”

He noted that achievements of the Ground Force of the Army would be unveiled on Wednesday.

The Iranian military official said that Iran has sent military advisors to Russia but has sent no unit to the country.
