Zahedan, March 9, IRNA - Iran's police chief Brigadier General Hossein Ashtari said the borders of southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan are the safest regions across the country.
Speaking at a local gathering in Zahedan, he said the military and disciplinary forces enjoy the highest readiness in this province.
'Sistan, Baluchestan province is among the safe provinces in Iran,' he said.
The Islamic Republic of Iran, located in a region in turmoil, is one of the safest countries in the Middle East.
