TEHRAN, March 8 (Shana) � Deputy Petroleum Minister for International Affairs and Commerce Amir-Hossein Zamani-Nia said Slovakia is interested to buy crude oil from Iran.

Talking to Shana following a meeting with the visiting Slovak Miniter of Economy Vazil Hudak here on Monday, he said that Bratislava also wants to invest in Tehran�s refining and LNG projects.

He said that following the removal of sanctions, ground for cooperation with a large number of countries has become prepared as Iran�s refining industry needs 1.7 billion of investment, and that Slovakia can take part in the sector�s projects.

�Iran�s oil industry needs 185 billion dollars in investment during the Sixth Development Plan (2016-2011) in which Slovak companies can take part too,� he added.
He referred to the upcoming IPC conference in May to be focusing on joint fields and IOR/EOR projects and invited Slovakia to participate in the event.

Zamani-Nia also said that Slovakia is interested in Iran�s LNG and gas storage projects adding that in four to five years Iran will be in a position to think about exporting gas to Europe.
