Iran, Oman to raise bilateral direct flights to 28

TEHRAN (ISNA)- Iran and Oman plan to raise the number of weekly direct flights to 278 per week, said an Iranian Civil Aviation Organization official Morad Esmaili.

In a recent meeting between head of Iran civil aviation organization and Omani envoy to Iran, the two sides expressed readiness for increasing direct flights between the two countries, said Esmailie.

The Omani delegation said that the flights which now hit 14 would eventually total 28 per week, he said, adding

During the meeting, head of Iran civil aviation organization stressed friendly ties between Iran and Oman; and emphasized the organizations readiness to expand bilateral transportation cooperation, Esmaili said.

He further noted that there would be three flights to Tehran and one to Mashhad in case the plans are implemented
