At least three civilians have lost their lives and a number of others sustained injuries in Saudi Arabia�s latest bombardment of Yemen.

On Tuesday, two women and a child were killed after Saudi warplanes targeted residential buildings in the northwestern Yemeni province of Sa�ada.

Saudi warplanes also bombed�various districts in the capital, Sana�a, a district in Ma�rib province and a camp in Ibb Province. No casualties have been reported in the attacks.

The Yemeni army�launched retaliatory missile attacks on military bases in Saudi Arabia�s southwestern border region of Jizan, killing an unknown number of Saudi troops, the al-Masirah TV reported.

The Saudi military confirmed that a missile had been fired but claimed to have successfully intercepted it.

Yemeni forces made further advances in al-Khobe region of Jizan, inflicting heavy losses on Riyadh�s military, according to the report.

Meanwhile, Ansarullah fighters targeted a gathering of militants loyal to Yemen�s fugitive former president, Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, in the Kufel region in Ma�rib.

A vehicle carrying mercenaries fighting on Saudi Arabia�s behalf was destroyed in Yemeni rocket attacks in the same region.

Yemen has been under Saudi military strikes on a daily basis since late March 2015. The military campaign is supposedly meant to undermine the Ansarullah movement and restore power to Hadi, a staunch ally of Riyadh.

More than 7,500 people have been killed and over 14,000 others injured since the strikes began. The Saudi war has also taken a heavy toll on the impoverished country�s facilities and infrastructure.
