Dy FM: Vienna meeting to be held in 2-3 weeks

Tehran, Dec. 3, IRNA – Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian said that Vienna-3 meeting will be held in next 2 or 3 weeks and added that in this round of talks more details about strengthening confrontation process against terrorism and follow up the political tactics on Syria will be considered.

He made the remarks in the memorial session held for the Iranian diplomat killed in the Mina Tragedy, Saudi Arabia, during Hajj rituals, here on Thursday afternoon.

The Deputy FM added that in his recent visit to Syria with Head of Strategic Research Center Ali Akbar Velayati they met President Bashar al-Assad and presented him a report on Vienna 2 meeting.

Amir-Abdollahian stressed that in the meeting the both sides exchanged views on Vienna-3 meeting and the way the Syrian government should interact with other players of the scene and Syrian people .
