Iran to add 30k bpd to North Yaran output

TEHRAN, Nov. 11 (Shana) Operator the development projects of North Yaran Oilfield said 30,000 barrels of crude oil per day will be added to the field's output by mid-2016.

Speaking with Shana, Arash Bagherzadeh said the development project of the field is 71.6% complete and drilling of its last well will begin next week.
He said the oil wells of the field are ready to operate and all drilling operations will end by the end of the current Iranian calendar year to March 20 2016.

He said the refining unit of the field is 50% complete and is expected to move on as scheduled.
Iranian Ministry of Petroleum has devised dozens of plans to boost crude oil production from West Karoun oilfields including Yadavaran, North Azadegan, South Azadegan, North Yaran and South Yaran which Iran shares with neighboring Iraq.
