TEHRAN, Nov. 11 (Shana) -- A delegation from the major Russian oil company Russneft met officials from Iranian Ministry of Petroleum here on Wednesday with swap of oil and gas on agenda of negotiations.

A joint committee was set up to continue the talks between the two sides, ministry sources told Shana.

During the recent visit of Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak to Iran in October and his talks with Iranian Petroleum Minister Bijan Zangeneh, both sides agreed on swab of crude oil, oil products, and gas.

The Russian firms are also interested in IOR and EOR projects and development of Iran�s oil and gas fields.
Speaking to reporters following the meeting, Zangeneh said it was decided that Russian oil and gas companies will take part in the Iran Petroleum Contract conference to be held in Tehran on November 28-29.
