Thailand PM to visit Iran soon

An Iranian advisor in Thailand has said that the Thai premier will soon make a trip to Tehran heading a delegation of 60 high-ranking officials.

Mohammad Ali Pakseresht further said that developed nations are seeking to get into the Iranian market following the conclusion of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, adding that the Thai government has made planning for Iran trip so that it can keep up with other nations and access Central Asian markets.

He said that the Thai delegation will study investment opportunities in Iran, adding that Iran can serve as an exhibition venue for Thailand firms.

The announcement came after a Thai deputy commerce minister announced that his country’s deputy premier will lead a ranking team to Iran to boost economic ties with Tehran.
