A six-millennia-old village which is five hectares in area has been identified by a team of archeologists in the southern city of Marvdasht, in Fars Province, the Public Relations Office of the Research Center of Iran�s Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization reported Wednesday.

Fazllolah Habibi, who leads a team of archeologists, said, �Following preliminary studies and creation of a topographic map, a site which is assumed to be a castle and the remnants of a mill dating back to the Seljuq era have been discovered.�
