Copper trading up in volume in IME

Tehran, Nov 5, IRNA - During the week ending to 29th of October, while 268,363 MT of commodities worth more than 119 million USD were traded on spot, Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) said.

According to the International and Public Relations office of the organization, the secondary markets the volume and value of copper trading experienced 111% and 37% of growth, respectively.

On the domestic and export metals and minerals pit of IME, more than 86 KT of various products worth more than 30 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, 21,858 MT of steel products, 55 KT of iron ore, 8 KT of copper products, 1 KT of aluminum, 140 MT of molybdenum concentrate, 6 MT of concentrates and 25.948 Kg of gold bullion were traded.

The report declares that on domestic and export oil and petrochemical trading floors of IME, 182,050 MT of different commodities with the total value of 88 million USD were traded.

On this trading floor, more than 78,398 KT of bitumen, 40,157 KT of polymer products, 37 KT of VB, 6 KT of lube cut, 15,749 KT of chemical products, 915 MT of insulation, 3,800 MT of sulfur and 30 MT of argon were traded.

Moreover, on the agricultural trading floor, 200 MT of sugar, 15 MT of maize and 30 MT of rice were traded by the customers.
