Atomic Heart Mother in San Diego festival

Tehran, Nov 4, IRNA Iranian movie Atomic Heart Mother, directed by Ali Ahmadzadeh, will be screened at the 16th San Diego Asian Film Festival (SDAFF) in the US, November 5-14.

The movie, its second showing in the US, was earlier screened at the 17th Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival, the forum section of the 2015 Berlinale and the more recent Zurich Film Festival (ZFF) in Switzerland, in the New World View section, ISNA reports.
The enigmatic story is of three friends on their way back home from a night party. Following a sudden crash, they meet a mysterious man who keeps reappearing throughout the film.
Celebrated actor Mohammadreza Golzar has portrayed the role of American action star Arnold Schwarzenegger in a part of the film. Golzar earned praise from Schwarzenegger at ZFF for his role.
The rest of the cast includes young stars Taraneh Alidoosti, Pegah Ahangarani and Mehrdad Sediqian.
The SDAFF is a premier film festival showcasing Asian American and international cinema. Founded in 2000, it has grown to become the largest exhibition of Asian cinema in the western United States. Each year, the festival brings West Coast and world premieres of films to San Diego and gives the audiences unique opportunities to discover international cinema.
