Police in the southeastern province of Kerman have seized 1,326 kg of morphine on board a tanker.

The provincial police chief told reporters on Saturday the tanker was en route from an eastern border area to Mashhad when it was stopped by his men. "The driver of the tanker is in custody."Every 10 kg of opium produces 1 kg of morphine.
