The P5+1 group Iran discussed implementation of the deal on Tehran�s nuclear program, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said.



�MOSCOW (Sputnik)�� On Friday, officials from�Iran, Russia, the United States, China, France, the United Kingdom and Germany convened in�Vienna for�talks on�the Syrian crisis settlement. They also discussed other issues.

'We had discussions with�the G5+1 [P5+1, specially the Americans on�expediting the implementation of�the commitments of�the other side and we wanted to�make sure that these commitments will be implement in�different areas of�the JCPOA [Joint Comprehensive Plan of�Action]," Zarif told reporters, as�quoted by�the Iranian IRNA news agency.


According to�the top Iranian diplomat, good progress was made on�the issue of�the Arak heavy water reactor in�the country.

The Arak nuclear facility in�the Markazi province has been one of�the stumbling blocks in�the nuclear talks between�Tehran and the six world powers, who fear that the research reactor could be used to�make weapons-grade plutonium.
"We talked about�the US measures which need to�be taken and for�providing guarantee to�our trade partners in�order not to�block trade with�Iran and we achieved good agreements in�these fields and it was agreed to�work more on�that," Zarif added.


On July 14, Iran and the P5+1 group of�Russia, the United States, China, the United Kingdom, France and Germany signed a historic deal to�guarantee the peaceful nature of�Tehran�s nuclear activities in�exchange for�sanctions relief.
