Qasr-e Shirin, Kermanshah Prov, Oct 18, IRNA -- Commander of Army Ground Force Brigadier General Ahmad-Reza Pourdastan announced Sunday that the forces' weapons are proportional to threats.

Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the Moharram war game to be held in west of the country, Pourdastan said, 'Our duty is to develop the forces' capabilities and make ourselves ready regarding the threats.'

About the maneuver, the commander said it is organized and will be implemented proportional to the threats.

He further assured people that nothing will endanger them.

On the message of the Moharram war game, the commander said it tells those who dream in vain about endangering Iran that they will receive a knockout response from the Islamic Republic of Iran's soldiers.

Army ground forces are to conduct Moharram maneuver in west and northwest of the country on October 19-20.
