Successful free fall of first Iranian women police after Islamic Revolution
Tehran, October 6, The Iran Project TheIranian policecommander in charge of theSpecial Unitof theLaw EnforcementForces (NAJA) has said the first women police after the Islamic revolution were able to jump 1500 meters.

TheIranian policecommander in charge of theSpecial Unitof theLaw EnforcementForces (NAJA), BrigadierHassan Karami, said on Tuesday that female forces of the special unit and its honorary police force were able to jump from an altitudeof 1500meters, coinciding with the Police week.

Karami went on to say jumping from a height of 155 meters, these women police could win the title of first female parachutists of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Armed Forces.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the police commander stressed on the countrys security, adding that the aim of Special Unitof theLaw EnforcementForces (NAJA) is to control and deal with potential conflicts and crises.

Commemorating the victims of Mina tragedy, he said the armed forces are ready to defend and respond to any aggressive move.
