Tehran, October 3, The Iran Project � The Secretary Generals of I.R.I. Sports�Federation�for the disabled says Iranian disabled and war veterans will attend six disciplines in Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

The Secretary Generals of I.R.I. Sports�Federation�for the disabled, Mojtaba Ghorban Hasani said on Saturday that 6 Iranian disabled and war veterans� teams will attend six disciplines in Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.

Iranian Para-athletes won Paralympic quota places for Rio 2016 Paralympics in six disciplines of sitting volleyball, archery, shooting, track and field, rowing and weightlifting, Ghorban Hasani stated.

He added Iran's wheelchair basketball team is to be sent to the Asian Games to earn 2016�Paralympic quota spot.

The Rio 2016 Paralympics Games will be the fifteenth Paralympics Games, and will take place between 7 and 18 September 2016. Organizers expect more than 4350 para-athletes from 178 countries in next year�s Games. The Paralympics games will host 528�events in the eleven days of competition.
