New York, Sept 30, IRNA � Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met and conferred with counterparts from Norway, Macedonia and Poland here on Tuesday.

The meetings took place on the sidelines of the 70th United Nations General Assembly meeting.

During the meeting with the Macedonian Foreign Minister Nikola Paposki, the two sides discussed the situation of Syrian refugees, Syrian crisis and mutual cooperation in enhancing peace.

The two foreign ministers also reviewed ways of promoting bilateral relations in different economic, trade, education and cultural spheres including the reopening of the Macedonian embassy in Tehran.

In meetings with the other two foreign ministers, Zarif reviewed the latest issues of mutual interest with his counterparts.
