Irans FM leaves for Beijing for key talks

TEHRAN (Tasnim) Irans Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif left Tehran for the Chinese capital of Beijing early on Monday to hold talks with the East Asian countrys high-ranking officials.

The Iranian foreign minister is expected to discuss the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) reached between Iran and world powers on July 14 in the Austrian city of Vienna as well as ongoing efforts to boost bilateral ties.
Zarifs visit to China came at the invitation of the Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
Also, Bangladesh will be the next destination of the top Iranian diplomat and his delegation.
Zarif is scheduled to meet with high-ranking officials of the South Asian country and discuss development of mutual relations.
In his previous international tours after the Vienna nuclear talks, Zarif had visited several countries including Kuwait, Qatar, Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria in the Middle East as well as India, Pakistan, and Russia.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has repeatedly emphasized that his governments approach in foreign policy is to have more constructive interaction with the entire world in the wake of the conclusion of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action.
