1st 1,000-bed nuclear hospital to be built in Iran soon: minister

Tehran, Aug 25, IRNA Iran's first 1,000-bed nuclear hospital to be constructed in Tehran soon, Health Minister Hassan Hashemi announced on Tuesday.

The nuclear hospital with modern technologies will be constructed in Velayat Park in southwest of Tehran, the minister told IRNA exclusively.

Providing further modern services to treat refractory diseases is one of the major objective behind building of the nuclear hospital, said Dr Hashemi, also an ophthalmologist and associate professor of Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

He added that the hospital would be owned by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) and will enjoy latest standards and modern technologies.
