Sari, Aug 5, IRNA � Visiting Iraqi Culture Minister Fallah Hassan Al-Zaidan said here on Wednesday that Iran is the biggest trade partner for this Arabic country in the field of agriculture.


The Iraqi minister made the remarks in a dinner party hosted by Mazandaran's Governor General Rabi' Fallah Jolodar in this northern province.
'Iraq and Iran enjoy proper political relations,' he added.
'Since the establishment of Iraq's new government, Iran has paid due attention to development of political and economic relations with this Arab country,' he noted.
Al-Zaidan also called for establishment of a joint committee for fostering agricultural cooperation between Iraq and Iran, Mazandaran province in particular.
